Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! A day filled with new beginnings, hopes and expectations for what is to come. I know I am embarking on something new with this blog. I have been a reader of many for a while but never felt compelled to do my own. After all, who wants to read about folding laundry, chauffeuring 4 kids around and house training a puppy? But then I realized, that is what I am called to be doing right now and I am doing a dis-service to my family, myself and God by looking at my life as mundane. Everyday is an unknown that He has laid before me, with the question, "What will you do with it today?" So today I say, " I will remember. I will trust. I will honor what you have called me to." And you know what? I am excited! I am excited to record some things that on that particular day seem huge, but in the scope are not. Or more importantly, the little things that I don't think matter, but may be remembered forever.

I am also going to have the goal of participating in Project 365, where a photo is taken everyday to capture my life. Between the posts and the pictures, I think this will be a fun (and daunting) endeavor.

I look forward to sharing it with those who want to come along and with the anticipation of the memories that will be made.

What does your New Year look like? I would love to share it with you!

Happy New Year!!
