Project 365-Week 7

Another busy week done but not without fun moments and smiles. Here's a look at the week.

Small group over for Super Bowl party! I had to work until 6:30, so I arrived fashionably late! This was floating around the house so I had to capture it.

Here are both of Carrie's "A's" as Cheese Heads! Quite literally I would say!

On the way home from work I had to stop and pick up some items to run dinner to our sweet Michelle who had her baby! Outside of the store and all through the plaza there were ice sculptures. I took this one especially for Rita since her son does sculpting.

Pretty amazing talent, wouldn't you say?

Look who I found all cuddled up watching TV.

Can you see what she is laying on? That would be the dog's bed. He wasn't in there though!

I was off today and Ella was having a really hard day. She didn't want to get out of the van to go to school. After she got home I took both girls for a little treat. Some girl time with Mommy.

Can you see the design on their nails?

Kyla chose purple.

Ella chose pink.

I woke up with a horrible headache today. So bad that I was throwing up...yuck! I did learn about this product today though.

All of these years with horrible headaches and I never knew this worked so well! Thank you to Anna for sharing (and Emily the next day at work)

Today the girls helped me draw the names for the Mud Love give away I did.

If you missed my post on Weds about Luke and Mud Love, please check it out! He is amazingly talented and is impacting the world globally with his art and ministry!

The girls helped me put together Valentine goody bags for my co-workers.

You're never too old for a goody bag in my book!

Hope you have had a great week!!

  1. Adored the little cheeseheads. I was pulling for Green Bay. Looks like your week was a busy one.

  2. looks like a great week!!! well, all except for the headache!! HOpe you are better!

  3. Oh, Excedrin is a god send! Looks like a good week and I like the idea of Mud Love. Bookmarked it to take a look at later on.

  4. Nothing like a manicure to make a girl feel better:) Hope you have a great week.

  5. Your girls are so cute - love their nails! That ice sculpture is pretty remarkable.

I'm glad the Excedrin helped your headache.

  6. The nails, the cheese heads, the goodie bags, all so sweet! I'm glad you found something that works for your headache.

    Have a great week,

  7. Cute cheese heads!

    Even cuter nails!

  8. Rats! I didn't make it back for the giveaway.

Love the Cheese Heads. Go Packs!

I use excedrin too, sometimes it's all that kicks the headaches.

The ice sculpture is amazing. When I was a kid, my aunt and uncle used to drive us a few hours away to see the ice sculptures in McCall Idaho. I remember how amazing all of that was. If only I was nearby I'd go again.

  9. Thanks for the ice sculpture photo!
    Where was that?
My son just got back from another competition, and his third crash this season :(
He takes such risks with his pieces, that if the weather is not just right, or ice too brittle anything can go wrong. But he won second place in People's Choice among the demo pieces.
Sunday he leaves for Alaska, check out His team's structure is pictured in the header, titled "Age of the Mechanical Musher".
Mud Love, Oh!!! Luke graduated from the nearby university where I taught for a while, and we visited his studio/shop in Winona Lake last fall.
